On 22 May 2014, I shipped 459 ounces of my own surplus breastmilk to the Mothers' Milk Bank of North Texas to help provide life-saving human milk to NICU babies in need.

Later that same month, I participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Mothers' Milk Bank of Mississippi.

I was the first person to donate breastmilk when the Mothers' Milk Bank of Mississippi opened its doors as a milk depot location for North Texas. I have continued to support MMBM as they became a fully functional milk bank through monetary donations and participation in their annual 5K Milk Run. I have also served as a volunteer to transport pasteurized donor milk to area NICUs.
